CEO of England Rugby 2015 to speak at The Sports CRM Summit

Paul Vaughan, CEO of England Rugby 2015, will be delivering a keynote presentation at The Sports CRM Summit 2012 at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 22nd May.

The Rugby World Cup 2011 won numerous accolades across the globe for its fan engagement strategy, which included achieving a Facebook page of 1.5 million followers. The knowledge inherited by Paul Vaughan, CEO of England Rugby 2015, is impressive and in his session he will provide an overview of the key strategies that contributed to the success of RWC2011 whilst giving insights into his plans for the 2015 event, including a focus on digital marketing and selling a targeted 2.8 million tickets.

Appointed in January 2011, Paul became the CEO of England Rugby 2015 Ltd, the delivery body for the Rugby World Cup in England in 2015. Paul joined the Rugby Football Union in 2001 to become its first Commercial Director where his responsibilities encompassed both the generation of revenue for the game in England and for the marketing of the sport and it was in 2009 that he was part of the team that successfully bid to host the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Paul joins an impressive line-up of keynote speakers at the Summit including; Pasi Lankinen, Business Intelligence Manager at FC Barcelona, Grant Baillie, Head of Customer Value Management & Retention at Betfair and Phil Stephan, Senior CRM Manager at Chelsea FC.

Delegates will have the chance to participate in two interactive workshops on a range of CRM topics, including;

Leveraging Your Customer Database, CRM Quick Wins, The Customer Journey – engaging with your ticket buyers, Shaping Your CRM Strategy through Customer Insights and Converting Fans to Customers through Social CRM.

An early bird rate of £149 plus VAT (or £159 plus VAT to attend the Breakfast Networking Session) is available until Friday 20th April. After this date the delegate rate will increase to £249 plus VAT or (£259 plus VAT to attend the Breakfast Networking Session).
