Singapore, 24 July 2013, Sports Matters 2013, taking place 18-19 September at the St. Regis  Singapore, today announced a first glance at their global speaker line-up.

Included in the roster is Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Chairman and CEO Stacey Allaster, recently named by Forbes magazine as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Sports”.

Of her participation at Sports Matters 2013, Stacey Allaster said, "I am honored to be part of the inaugural Sports Matters conference in September. The WTA is thrilled to be involved with the development of sport in Singapore as we continue our strategic growth in the region, highlighted by bringing the WTA Championships, the crown-jewel of women's tennis, to Singapore for the next five years. Along with our partners from the Singapore Tourism Board, the Singapore Sports Council, and our promoter, the World Sports Group, we look forward to attracting fans from around the globe to the world-class city of Singapore for the WTA’s premier sport entertainment season finale that will not only inspire generations of Singaporeans, but ultimately provide significant global promotion and economic impact for Singapore and the region."
